Project Description

This short project is a visual exploration of cities that we see from films becoming reestablished in our minds. The project is interested in the deceptive results of film settings on our perception of cities in reality, in this case, New York. These methodologies are potential design apparatus for the future stages of the project.

The tools were used to generate decay and transformation over surfaces, images and models. As previously mentioned, there is an element of aesthetical interest in the film, that closely correlates with architectural design. Exploration of geometrical gradient and the notion of gradual change over surfaces is one of key design concepts in the film.
